Terms of service
Last updated 7 September 2026
These terms govern your use of RDPGo. By placing an order you agree to them. Please read the acceptable use policy in particular — breaking it is the one thing that gets an instance shut down without a refund.
1. Who we are
RDPGo (“we”, “us”) provides managed Windows remote desktop and virtual private server hosting. Instances are provisioned on Amazon Web Services infrastructure. We are an independent business and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a partner of Amazon Web Services, Inc. or Microsoft Corporation.
2. Your account and credentials
We deliver administrator credentials to the email address given at checkout. You are responsible for keeping them secret, for changing the initial password, and for everything done on your instance. Tell us immediately at support@rdpgo.net if you believe your credentials have been compromised.
3. Service delivery
We aim to deliver credentials within two hours of your payment clearing, at any hour of the day. Where a delay is unavoidable we will tell you and, if you prefer not to wait, refund you in full.
We target 99.9% monthly availability excluding scheduled maintenance, which we announce in advance where possible. Availability targets are a commitment we take seriously but do not constitute a contractual service credit scheme unless separately agreed in writing.
4. Billing
Plans are prepaid for the term you select. Renewal is at the same rate unless we give you at least 30 days' notice of a change. All prices are in US dollars and exclusive of any local taxes you may owe. Payments are processed by Stripe, Razorpay or PayPal; we do not store your card details.
5. Data and backups
You own your data. Daily backups are an optional add-on and are retained for seven days when enabled; without it, we do not keep copies of your instance. Keep your own backups of anything you cannot afford to lose.
When a plan ends or is terminated, the instance and its storage are destroyed after a seven-day grace period.
6. Acceptable use policy
You may not use an RDPGo instance to:
- send unsolicited bulk email, or anything that gets our IP ranges blacklisted;
- scan, brute force, or attempt unauthorised access to systems you do not own;
- run denial-of-service tooling, botnet command and control, or malware distribution;
- mine cryptocurrency;
- host or distribute child sexual abuse material, or content that is illegal in the jurisdiction of your chosen region;
- infringe copyright or distribute pirated software;
- breach the AWS Acceptable Use Policy, which applies on top of this one.
We investigate abuse reports sent to abuse@rdpgo.net. Confirmed breaches result in suspension or termination without refund. Where the law requires it, we cooperate with law enforcement.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Changes and termination
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced by email at least 30 days before they take effect. You may cancel at any time under the refund policy. We may terminate immediately for a serious breach of the acceptable use policy.
